This is a beautiful piece of furniture! Antique French Oak 2-tier tall work table with drawer, from Alsace in Northern France. Designed so that the top can be unpegged and removed. Incredibly sturdy when fixed. Boards were cut on the diagonal to maximise the natural shape of the tree, a technique not often used anymore.

The perfect height for a character filled kitchen island.
