A 19th century folding fruitwood vendange table from Burgundy, France. Used in the vineyards as it was often too far to go home for lunch during harvest/planting/pruning. Often covered in an oil cloth which is long gone. It would have been stretched over the table surface with the timber band that still remains. Beautiful patina!
