A midcentury classic!

This chair is a work of art, that requires great skill to create! In the 1960s American Woodworker Sam Maloof was designing and crafting pieces that have been highly desirable ever since. He refused to mass produce his particular style of woodwork and is revered by craftsmen for this reason. This example stays true to the original concept of no nails used. Though not his piece, those that are found on the market retain their value through the decades. 

Made of local Blackbutt timber. The chair is particularly large in scale, with a lower seat, perfect for rocking. A buttery smooth finish with few to no flaws.
